My Canada Test

Practice for the Canadian driver knowledge test — original questions written from the published rules of each province, and 662 road signs, in English and French. Built in the same family as the DGT, Patente B and Code de la Route apps: same approach, same offline-first design.

It is not on the App Store yet. The privacy policy and terms below are already published because Apple requires both documents to be reachable at a stable address before a submission can go for review.

What it does

The theory test, the way it is actually taken

40 questions in two sections

The mock exam follows the Ontario G1 format: 20 questions on the rules of the road and 20 on traffic signs, each section needing at least 16 correct answers.

English and French

Both official languages, switchable at any moment without losing your progress.

662 road signs, federal and provincial

The federal MUTCDC set plus Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, Manitoba and more. Where the artwork is CC BY-SA, the card carries its author and licence.

Works with no connection at all

Questions, signs and progress live on the device. There is no account, no server and nothing to sign in to.

Questions

Is the app available yet?

Not yet. It is in development and has not been released on the App Store.

Is it an official app of a licensing authority?

No. It is an independent study aid and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, the SAAQ, ICBC or any other authority. The questions are original and written from the published rules; the app itself is not official.

Does it need an internet connection?

No. Everything is bundled with the app and works offline from the first launch.

I found a mistake in a question. What do I do?

Report it from the question itself — the app opens an email with the question number already filled in — or write to [email protected].

How do I hear when it ships?

Email [email protected] and I will let you know.
