At My Habits, we believe your personal data belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our application.
Key principle: We collect only what's necessary to provide you with a great habit tracking experience, and we never sell your data.

Data Storage Secure
Your data is stored in two ways:
- Local Storage: All habit data is stored locally on your device by default
- Cloud Sync (Optional): If you sign in with Apple ID, your data is securely synced via Firebase with encryption
Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest when using cloud sync.
What We Don't Collect
We do NOT collect:
- Your location data
- Contact information from your device
- Photos or media
- Browsing history
- Third-party app usage
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Firebase (Google): For optional cloud sync and authentication. Firebase Privacy Policy
- Apple App Store: For subscription and purchase processing
Apple Watch
If you use the My Habits Apple Watch app:
- Data is synced between your iPhone and Watch via secure WatchConnectivity
- No additional personal data is collected on the Watch
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access — Request a copy of your data
- Delete — Remove all your data from our servers
- Export — Export your habit data (Premium feature)
- Opt-out — Use the app locally without cloud sync

Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:
- All cloud data is permanently deleted within 30 days
- Local data on your device remains until you delete the app
Children's Privacy
My Habits is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or via email. The "Last updated" date at the top indicates when this policy was last revised.
